A journey to Robbs Rapids will fill your soul with good feelings, and Backus Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Jessie View Resort and RV Campground is a glorious local campground. Arrowhead Lake Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Turtle Mound Trail. Going       for a hike along the Plum Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Dry warm beds await you at White Oak Inn & Suites, and if you came to camp Noma Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a good place to do that. An exciting thing to check out in close proximity to Backus Lake is Holland Lake Dam, naturally you could also explore Fletcher Creek Impoundment if you're here; it's not far at all. From a rainfall point of view Backus Lake                  is a pretty normal site; most of the rain falls throughout June, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
