Axberg Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Eagle View Campground is a good local campground, and Axberg Lake is not the only place close by, Sand Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Shoe Lake while you're here at Axberg Lake; it's close by. Summertime highs at Axberg Lake       usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
