This is a splendid region for people who like lakes. Burt Lake is a lake close by. There's so much to do here at Auk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gunflint Pines is a great place for that. So much amusing stuff to do here at Auk Lake, too glorious to be true. A tremendous close by hotel is Caribou Highlands Lodge; don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Long Island River. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day

| | is on the slopes of nearby Lutsen. There's whitewater on Temperance River for all you adrenaline kick people; going for a hike on the Granite River Portage is always a glorious adventure.
From a precipitation point of view Auk Lake is a reasonably common location; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a site to stay Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains is a great choice; | |

the Rib Lake Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Poplar River, and close by you locate the Pine Portage which is a wonderful hiking trail.
Throughout
the summer here at Auk Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 10's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Auk Lake tend to be in
the-10's. Lakes are magnificent; Frost Lake is a lake that's close to Auk Lake, and if you came to camp Baker Lake Campground is a wonderful location to do that.
