You'll meet a lot of people from St. Cloud here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Augusta has to offer, you can camp at AJ Acres Campground. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sauk River; dry warm beds await you at Americinn Lodge & Suites. Golf can be played at Whispering Pines Golf Course,       and Lake Augusta is a great place to camp, Rest-a-while Resort and Bar is a great place. From a precipitation point of view Lake Augusta is a rather normal spot; the month with most of the rain is June while February is mostly the driest month. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Lake Augusta. Don't forget to take a tremendous little tour to Threemile Creek, and a pretty lake like Lake Caroline is a glorious location to stop at. Mississippi                  River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. For the period of the warm months highs here at Lake Augusta get into the 80's, and the night is a tad colder of course, regularly in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 10's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Augusta temperatures fall to the 0's.
