There's whitewater on Vermilion River for all you thrill seekers; Norway Lake is a magnificent lake close by. While you're here at Auchagah Lake you must stop by Snow Bay, and close by you come across the Echo Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Auchagah Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is June while February is mostly the driest       month. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place to camp here at Auchagah Lake is Sioux River Campground, and a scenic lake like Section Pond is a glorious spot to visit. So many amusing things to do here at Auchagah Lake, too tremendous to be true. There is a good hiking trail near Auchagah Lake called the Beatty Portage. Auchagah Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Jeanette Campground is a magnificent local campground, and a great                  close by hotel is Elbow Lake Lodge. Through the summer highs here at Auchagah Lake get into the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's.
