If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Vermilion River; lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Norway Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Auchagah Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls all through June, and February is the month with the least moisture.       Don't leave Auchagah Lake without first going for a hike along the Beatty Portage, and dry warm beds await you at Elbow Lake Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Jeanette Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and a trip to Snow Bay is always a fine idea. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's magnificent hiking along the Echo Trail. At Auchagah Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures                  fall down into the 40's.
