If you need a location to stay Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids is a great choice, and there are swamps here too, Rice Lake Bog is close at hand. Why not explore close by Gale Brook while you're here at Aspen Lake, and soar down the rapids of Big Fork in a kayak. At Aspen Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 10's       with winter lows in the-20's overnight here at Aspen Lake. There's so much to do here at Aspen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Point Resort is a fine place for that, and you can go for a hike on the Suomi Hills Trail System. This place, Aspen Lake, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Aspen Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and February                  is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
