The beauty of Ashton Lake is reason enough to stop by. Looking for a brilliant visit? Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is pretty near Ashton Lake; what would winter be without some skiing at Wild Mountain. From a rainfall point of view Ashton Lake is a pretty normal site; most of the rain falls through June, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ashton Lake that you need to camp here

Stay the night at River Bend Mobile Home Park, and if you've had enough of Ashton Lake, Heims Lake is close by. really bountiful here at Ashton Lake. While you're here at Ashton Lake you can play some golf at Castlewood Golf Course, and you're possibly into lakes, Comfort Lake is one of those nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Some of the
water nearby flows, like South Branch Sunrise River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Ashton Lake; Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail is a brilliant local trail. For the duration of the summer months, highs frequently are in the
80's at Ashton Lake, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Ashton Lake descend into the-10's.
