After a long day outdoors Americinn - Cloquet, Mn is a nice place to spend a night or two, and a lake close by is Schelin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Artichoke Lake from Duluth, you won't be the only one, and get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of St. Louis River. Artichoke Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Pine River Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody

You could also pop by Levindusky Lake if you're here at Artichoke Lake; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Cloquet.
