Armstrong Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hilton Garden Inn St. Paul/Oakdale, and Woodbury Koa Kampground is a wonderful campground here. This is a nice region for people who like lakes. Eagle Point Lake is a lake close by; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Oak Marsh Golf Course is close at hand. A trip to Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is recommended, and Lake Elmo Regional Park Dam is a charming place. This lake is so wonderful. People from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington love to come to Armstrong Lake; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Afton Alps. The yearly precipitation here at Armstrong Lake is
about average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. All through the days of summer here at Armstrong Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's with
nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Armstrong Lake drop into the 0's.
