     Do take a look at Strom Lake close to Armstrong Lake, it's a pretty lake; dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn & Suites New Ulm. Cedar Grove Camp Ground is a magnificent local campground, and at Armstrong Lake you always meet someone from New Ulm. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Armstrong Lake; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Armstrong  
   Lake tend to be in the 0's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Armstrong Lake; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here while January is typically the driest month.
Solberg Lakebed is a wonderful place here at Armstrong Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Watona Park Campground and Park is a glorious spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americinn Madelia is a wonderful place to spend a night

I loved Cedar Grove Campgrounds!!! I have some wonderful memories of this place. I was wondering if anyone knew if Cedar Grove campground is still open? I used to camp here as a child growing up and we stopped camping here due to the fact that we were told that it was being mined for the sand. Does anyone know if this is true? I would love to start camping there if they are open....
