This lake is so wonderful. Any time is a nice time at Anderson Lake if you go for the outdoors. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Lutsen, and if you came to camp Crescent Lake Campground is a pleasant place to do that. Lakes are such calm places, why not explore Pagoda Lake right next door       to Anderson Lake, and there are other spots here than Anderson Lake, for example Screech Lake. The warmest time of the year at Anderson Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Anderson Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Temperance River offers some delightful whitewater, and                  on a nice day you can take a hike along the Pine Portage. This lake is so wonderful. Caribou Highlands Lodge is a good spot to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Anderson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Baker Lake Campground is a nice location for that. A fine nearby hotel is Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains, and going for a hike along the Honeymoon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
