East Seelye Campground is a nice campground here, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail. This place is excellent, just check out all the entertaining things to do near Amik Lake. Amik Lake is a great place to camp, West Seelye Campground is a great place, and dry warm beds await you at Trappers Landing Lodge. Do schedule some time to go to Battle       Point close to Amik Lake if you have a chance; the Turtle Mound Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. Do stop at Amik Impoundment next to Amik Lake, it's a pretty lake; why not stop by Amik Lake Dam if you're here. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 70's at Amik Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime                  at Amik Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Cutfoot Experimental Forest is a forest next to Amik Lake that you can go to; on a great day you can take a hike along the Simpson Creek Trail System.
