The Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Alice Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Alice Lake dip into the-10's. The annual precipitation here       at Alice Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Blackduck, Mn, and camping at Middle Pigeon River Campground is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. Alice Lake is right by the Simpson Creek Trail System, and you should pop by Mallard Bay when you're here.
