Clayridge Assisted Living is a good site to get some rest; Spirit Mountain is a glorious local ski area. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A wonderful nearby hotel is Walt's Cloquet River Inn, and Lake Albert is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ico Campground is a good local campground. From a precipitation point of view Lake Albert is a quite common place; the month of June is the wettest       with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Lake Albert during the warm days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Albert temperatures fall to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Cloquet River for all you thrill seekers, and the skiing                  at Giants Ridge is pleasant. There are some fine whitewater spots on St. Louis River, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop at Lake Anne.
