Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Lutsen, and if you need a location to stay Caribou Highlands Lodge is a brilliant choice. Through the days of summer highs here at Lake Agnes get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are generally in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Lake Agnes. There's some flowing water nearby, Caribou       Creek is a stream you can go to while here, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Poplar River. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Agnes is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Poplar River Campground is a tremendous local campground; needless to say, this is a pleasant region for people who like lakes, Caribou Lake is a lake nearby. From a precipitation point of view Lake Agnes is a relatively typical spot; the month of August                  is the wettest with most of the rain while February is frequently the driest month. Get soaked paddling on Cascade River, and you can go for a hike on the Rib Lake Trail. There are fine places to discover along the North Shore State Trail; going for a hike on the Honeymoon Trail is always a wonderful adventure. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Lake Agnes.
