Go for a hike on the Powwoun Trail, and if you came to camp North Country Campgrounds is a nice place to do that. Not far from Acorn Lake, you'll discover Wind Lake which is a charming lake, and there are other locations here than Acorn Lake, for example Washte Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at McDougal Lakes Campground is always a magnificent experience, and nearby you hit upon the Snowbank Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Going for a hike

Throughout the months of summer here at Acorn Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 10's while Acorn Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Acorn Lake. | |
