Hiking along the Turtle Mound Trail is magnificent fun, and Wendigo Lodge Golf Conference is a good location to get some rest. At Ackerman Lakes all through the warmest time of the year highs are in       the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Ackerman Lakes. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Spur Lake Trail System, and let's not forget Spring Lake Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here.
