You'll find a charming lake called Scribner Lake near Abel Lake; Abel Lake is right by the Lake Erin Trail. Camping at Abel Lake is great fun, Sun Set Resort is a great local campground; Cedar Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. Abel Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. At Abel Lake throughout       the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, generally in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Abel Lake temperatures fall to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bull Moose Trail, and a tremendous close by hotel is Country Inn. South Fork Pine River Dam is a beautiful site next to Abel Lake,                  and hiking is a popular thing to do around Abel Lake; Deerfield Trail is a wonderful local trail. You just must have a thing about Abel Lake.
