The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Young Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Young Lake gets       a normal amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Young Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sugar Hills Campgrounds; you can hit the slopes at Skyline Ski Slide nearby. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Lakeside is a perfect location to spend a night or two, unsurprisingly                  you could also stop at Headquarters Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
