Going for a hike along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Cadillac - Days Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. So much cool stuff to do here at Woodward Lake, too glorious to be true. Hiking along the McKenzie Ski Trail is brilliant fun, and the wonderful people of Cadillac like to hang out nearby. For the period of the warmest time       of the year highs here at Woodward Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Woodward Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Pine River, and if you came to camp Peterson Bridge S Campground is a delightful spot to do that. You can run the rapids of Boardman River                  next to Woodward Lake. Caberfae Peaks is a very popular ski area close at hand, and camping at Birchwood Resort and Campgrounds is always a fine experience. Take a hike on the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail, and after a long day outdoors Cadillac Sands Resort is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
