Yeah, come here to Lake of the Woods for a fine time. Getting to Burkett Creek from Lake of the Woods is simple; a glorious site to camp here at Lake of the Woods is Burton Trailer Park. Near Lake of the Woods you locate the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and Lake of the Woods is delightful enough to spend more       than a day at, Mesick Trailer Park is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Traverse City come to Lake of the Woods; if you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Traverse City is a wonderful choice. Throughout the summertime months here at Lake of the Woods, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's;                  night lows at Lake of the Woods through the winter generally descend into the 10's. There's whitewater on Pine River for all you adrenaline junkies, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Oatly Lake. Going for a hike on the McKenzie Ski Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Boardman River. Lake of the Woods gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
