There's so much to do here at Wood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Oak Knoll Campground is a splendid location for that, and you can go for a hike on the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. A lake nearby is North Lake, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Muskegon-Norton Shores. If you need a site to stay Best Western Whitehall Inn is a splendid choice, and if you came to camp Muskegon       Koa Kampground is a perfect location to do that. Wood Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Wood Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Wood Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so                  wonderful. Wood Lake is not the only location nearby, Mayo Lake is a nearby lake, and don't leave Wood Lake without first going for a hike along the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail. Be careful coming to Wood Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again.
