After a long day outdoors Stephenson Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Menominee River offers some great whitewater. Camping is available at Stephenson Motel, and there are some good whitewater spots on Pike River. For the period of the summertime months at Woesner Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip       down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Woesner Lake tend to be in the 0's. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Shakey Lakes Park is always a fine experience, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Marinette. Woesner Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; most of the rain falls during September; the driest of the months is February. This                  lake is so wonderful.
