Custom Search     Wixom Lake     This lake is a delightful 3 square mile lake. The waters of this lake comprise of some great bass, black crappie, bluegill, catfish, channel catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, muskellunge, muskellunge, northern pike, perch, rock bass, smallmouth bass, sunfish, walleye and yellow perch. The wonderful marina of Secord Lake Marina is a great location to leave dry land behind. Camping is available at J and J's Landing, and if you want to get out on     the water, Lakelife Marina is close by. Have two homes/cottages listed in this subdivision. - Marilyn Harrell Wixom Lake offers fun for all ages all year round. Some of the homes have fantastic sandy beaches for swimming in the summer. Ice fishing and snowmobiling for winter fun! The Gladwin County Ice Carnival used to be held on the lake, many years ago, partly for safety reasons, the carnival was moved onto land across the road from where is had been held on the water. There are mud bogs and truck pulls and racing. There is also a lot of state land near the Wixom Lake area.
