Have two homes/cottages listed in this subdivision. - Marilyn Harrell Wixom Lake offers fun for all ages all year round. Some of the homes have fantastic sandy beaches for swimming in the summer. Ice fishing and snowmobiling for winter fun! The Gladwin County Ice Carnival used to be held on the lake, many years ago, partly for safety reasons, the carnival was moved onto land across the road from where is had been held on the water. There are mud bogs and truck pulls and racing. There is also a lot of state land near the Wixom Lake area. Going for a hike on the Guernsey Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Wixom Lake that you need to camp here for a while, J and J's Landing is a tremendous site for that, and if you need a site to stay Sleep Inn Midland is a splendid choice. There's so much to do here at       Wixom Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Flats Campground is a great place for that, and as expected Fowley Drain flows through this region. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Wixom Lake reach the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Wixom Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Midland here, and if you need a location to stay                  Midland Resort is a good choice.; the month with most of the rain is September while February is regularly the driest month. So much amusing stuff to do at Wixom Lake, so little time.
