A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Wistrand Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Traverse City Koa is a splendid place to camp, and Wistrand Lake is not far at all from Traverse City.       I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Wistrand Lake. Timber Ridge RV and Recreation Resort is a nice local campground, and if you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Traverse City is a glorious choice. Summertime highs at Wistrand Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Wistrand Lake are in the 10's. Don't                  leave Wistrand Lake without first going for a hike along the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail, and there are other places here than Wistrand Lake, for example Cedar Lake.
