The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Wiltz Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Wiltz Lake plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't       miss out on a journey to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore since you're here at Wiltz Lake; a good location to camp here at Wiltz Lake is Sleepy Bear Camp Grounds. Camping is available at Sunnywoods Platte River, and you'll probably meet some people from Traverse City here. Do have a look at Courson Lake near Wiltz Lake, it's a lovely lake; after a long day outdoors Best Western Scenic Hill Resort is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Life's too                  short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in close proximity to Wiltz Lake. Mistwood Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and you can hit the slopes at Crystal Mountain in the neighborhood. A wonderful lake like Pearl Lake right next door to Wiltz Lake is a great spot to take a look at.
