The Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail is a nice hiking trail near Wide Waters. Lakes are great; Stewart Lake is a lake that's near Wide Waters. Wide Waters is a good site of normal rainfall; through September this area sees the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Wide Waters really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Wide Waters called the Ward Hills       Snowmobile Trail, and Pine River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. This is a brilliant region for people who like lakes. Ahmikwam Lake is a lake around here; if you came for an overnight stay Old Grade Campground is a wonderful spot to camp. Going for a hike on the McKenzie Ski Trail is always a splendid adventure, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Big Rapids, Mi. High temperatures at Wide Waters throughout the long summer days are in the 80's.                  Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Wide Waters. This lake is so wonderful.
