 | Ok, it's nice however. There are some issues I would like to address. the beach. It's not very clean, you find cigarette butts all over the beach, finding it very unattractive, especially if you have little kids. I would be very pleased if that was an issue taking care of when I return to the beach with my kids. Also perhaps a no smoking on beach could be addressed. Perhaps they could smoke elsewhere. Like in the parking lot. Where kids wouldn't most likely be. Thank you.... |

Stop in at Five lakes grocery and talk to the lady there, she can tell you all about the history of this once booming lumber town. The 7,000 +/- acre Lapeer State Game Area is adjacent and offers great hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing and nature study/photography. 6-7 miles away is the town of Lapeer which is the county seat and with 8,000 people, the largest town in the county.... |
