The amount of rain that falls at Whalen Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Holly has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and Whalen Lake is not far at all from Flint. And if that's not       enough, there's plenty more to do close to Whalen Lake. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not go to Bullard Lake next to Whalen Lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Majestic at Lake Walden Golf Course. Summertime at Whalen Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Whalen Lake                  drop into the 10's. You'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Tyrone Lake near Whalen Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites FENTON.
