Summertime at West Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for West Lake tend to be in the 10's. West Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll       need more than a day to discover everything West Lake has to offer, you can camp at Oak Shores Resort Campground; a tremendous close by hotel is Airport Inn. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because States Golf Club is close by, and you can stay the night at Coldbrook County Park. Head up to Bittersweet and strap some skis to your feet, and after a long day outdoors Lees Inn and Suites Kalamazoo is a great location to spend a night or two. West                  Lake is not far at all from Kalamazoo-Portage, and if you come at the right time of year, Kalamazoo River offers some wonderful whitewater. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; West Lake has it all.
