Camping at Hovey Lake Campground is always a great experience; if you need a place to stay Days Inn Munising is a nice choice. Through the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at West Branch Lake with night lows in the 50's. Highs       through the winter are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to West Branch Lake. Hiking along the Valley Spur Ski Trail is brilliant fun, and a good place to camp here at West Branch Lake is Hiawatha Resort and Campground. Having a good time at West Branch Lake is easy. Skiing at Gladstone Ski Park is one of those things you just must do; a visit to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is recommended. West Branch Lake gets a                  common amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Au Train River, and if you've had enough of West Branch Lake, Round Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful.
