Everybody close by loves skiing at Gladstone Ski Park. You'll need more than a day to look at everything West Branch Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hiawatha Resort and Campground. A typical amount of rain falls here at West Branch Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This is a nice area for folks who like lakes. Round       Lake is a lake close at hand, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Throughout the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at West Branch Lake while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for West Branch Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is worthwhile, and going for a hike along the                  Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. On a brilliant day at West Branch Lake you can take a hike along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail, and West Branch Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Hovey Lake Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby. And that's not all you can do here at West Branch Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Au Train River offers some splendid whitewater; after a long day outdoors Munising - Days Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Lakes are pleasant; Dam Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of West Branch Lake, and Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a nice location to get some rest.
