This is a pleasant area for people who like lakes. Armstrong Lake is a lake in close proximity, and why not camp at Sunnywoods Platte River if you're here at Wells Lake. So much fun stuff near Wells Lake, simply phenomenal. A fine location to camp here at Wells Lake is Sleepy Bear Camp Grounds, and hey, Gotta ski right? Homestead is a good site to do that.       Throughout the summertime, highs frequently are in the 70's at Wells Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Wells Lake. You're sure to run into some wonderful people from Traverse City here; golf can be played at Dunes' Golf Club. From a rainfall point of view Wells Lake is a pretty normal spot; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February.                  Paradise Hollow Resort is a glorious place to get some rest, and stunning scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Crystal Mountain.
