Crystal Mountain is a pleasant place to do that. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Wells Lake. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Wells Lake are in the 10's. An average amount of rain falls at Wells Lake; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the       least moisture. There are other places here than Wells Lake, for example Courson Lake, and a pleasant location to camp here at Wells Lake is Sunnywoods Platte River.
