If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Wedge Lake. Lakes are splendid; Dipper Lake is a lake that's near Wedge Lake, and camping is available at Wide Water Campground. Summertime highs at Wedge Lake commonly tend to be in the       70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Wedge Lake. Why not camp at Hiawatha Resort and Campground if you're here at Wedge Lake, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Valley Spur Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here, and                  on a nice day you can take a hike along the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Wedge Lake; during the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. A delightful nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore; get yourself into a kayak and hit Au Train River.
