Lake Metamora
 | 15 miles away Ok, it's nice however. There are some issues I would like to address. the beach. It's not very clean, you find cigarette butts all over the beach, finding it very unattractive, especially if you have little kids. I would be very pleased if that was an issue taking care of when I return to the beach with my kids. Also perhaps a no smoking on beach could be addressed. Perhaps they could smoke elsewhere. Like in the parking lot. Where kids wouldn't most likely be. Thank you.... |

Haas Lake Park
 | 19 miles away My family and I have been spending summers at Haas Lake for about 18 years now. Through the years we have made a family of friends there... people who are as close (if not closer) than actual family. Growing up there, I will have to say that I would not trade it for anything. Of those who stay out there, many of us say that it is our favorite place on earth!! I am blessed to have had the time there, and hope that, in the future, my children will spend time there also!...I was fortunate enough to have spent my summers growing up at Haas Lake Park.? Even though I am now 35 years old, I still return to Haas Lake to visit the Haas Lake ''family''. I have made so many friends at Haas Lake and would recommend camping there.... |
