Dawn: This park boasts a boat launch onto Wabasis Lake. Recently added during the summer of 1999 was an enclosed shelterhouse. There is also a cottage available for weekly rental during the summer campground season. Park activities and facilities include: ball diamond, campground, fishing, hiking/walking, open shelterhouse, picnicking, playground, enclosed shelterhouse, swimming, bathhouse, basketball court, and restrooms.

Cannonsburg is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; the great folks of Grand Rapids-Wyoming like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here at Wabasis Lake is Lincoln Pines Resort; enjoy a round of golf at Silver Lake Country Club. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Wabasis Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime

Flat Iron Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Beaver Dam Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. Double R Ranch
