And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Victoria Reservoir. A splendid nearby hotel is Silver Sands Motor Lodge, and what would winter be without some skiing at Porcupine Mountain. This lake is located in the wonderful Gogebic Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp River Pines RV Park and Campgrounds is a great place to       do that; a good site for whitewater paddling is Ontonagon River - West Branch. High temperatures at Victoria Reservoir through the summer months are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 10's while Victoria Reservoir nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the-10's. There are great locations to look at along the North Country National Scenic Trail, and                  in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River - South Branch.
