You'll need more than a day to look at everything Van Auken Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rush Lake Campgrounds. During the warm months here at Van Auken Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Van Auken Lake. There's so much to       do here at Van Auken Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Ronora is a great place for that, and a round of golf at nearby Beeches Golf Club is a fine way to kill some time.
