This lake is so wonderful. Shady Acres Campground is a great campground here, and an afternoon playing golf at Elk Ridge Golf Course is always a pleasure. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Valentine Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Wayside Cabins; there are some wonderful whitewater       spots on Ocqueoc River. You'll come across a charming lake called Bear Lake near Valentine Lake; swing by Packer Creek it's a pleasant site to take a look at. Throughout the days of summer at Valentine Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 50's.
