Go to Upper Woodcock Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Woodcock Lake is not the only site nearby, Harvey Lake is a nearby lake, and lots of people from Traverse City come here. After a long day outdoors Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa is a nice place to spend a night or two. playing golf at Mistwood Golf Course is always a joy. Upper Woodcock Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
