While you're here at Upper Lake you can take a hike along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Hiking along the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail is glorious fun, and if you came to camp Island Lake Campground is a fine site to do that. Just can't get enough of Upper Lake.
