Upper Eighteenmile Lake is a good location of typical precipitation; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Don't leave Upper Eighteenmile Lake without first going for a hike along the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail. There's so much to do here at Upper Eighteenmile Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hovey Lake Campground       is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling next to Upper Eighteenmile Lake is Au Train River. Through the long summer days at Upper Eighteenmile Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's while Upper Eighteenmile Lake overnight low temperatures through the                  winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is perfect at Gladstone Ski Park, and wonderful hiking is available along the Haymeadow Falls Trail. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a good national park, and dry warm beds await you at Munising - Days Inn. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Upper Eighteenmile Lake has it all. Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a perfect place to get some rest, and Middle Eighteenmile Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. It's a perfect idea to go to Davies Creek, it's near Upper Eighteenmile Lake, and a lake nearby is Lower Eighteenmile Lake.
