And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Upper Black Lake. Upper Black Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. If you came to camp Camp Tanuga is a splendid site to       do that; after a long day outdoors Days Inn Grayling is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Skyline Ski Slide, and you'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Middle Black Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Woodland Motor Lodge, and do stop at South Black Lake, it's a stunning lake. Through the days of summer here at Upper Black Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's,                  and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
