A quick trip to Little Henna Creek in close proximity to Unger Lake is a great idea, and Wolf Lake Apartments and Resort is a pleasant campground here. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail; Unger Lake is a spot with many visitors from Muskegon-Norton Shores. Unger Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; during the month of August you get the most       rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Round Lake is right nearby, and perfect hiking is available along the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Unger Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Oak Knoll Campground is a perfect site to camp, and after a long day outdoors Last Resort is a great location to spend a night or two. All through                  the summer months highs here at Unger Lake get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Unger Lake all through the winter commonly dip into the 10's.
