The Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Unger Lake; a perfect nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Muskegon. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Pine Island Lake is a lake that's next to Unger Lake, and don't miss out on a good swamp; Round Lake is right here at Unger Lake. A great site to camp here at Unger Lake is Camp Pinewood; if the weather       is great, you can go for a hike along the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. Unger Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Oak Knoll Campground is a delightful local campground, and Holiday Inn Muskegon, Mi is a good place to get some rest. Unger Lake is a site with many visitors from Muskegon-Norton Shores, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Unger Lake; August                  is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Having a great time at Unger Lake is uncomplicated. Little Henna Creek is a tremendous local stream; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Hart Lake. Through the long summer days here at Unger Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's.
