Dry warm beds await you at Marquette-Days Inn, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try O'Neal Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Escanaba River - Middle Branch, and       a round of golf at nearby Red Fox Run Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time. Don't leave Uncle Tom Lake without first going for a hike along the Holyoke Trail; Comfort Suites Marquette is a pleasant spot to get some rest. A day on the slopes of Marquette is just what you need, and Escanaba River - East Branch has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Uncle Tom Lake. There's                  so much to do here at Uncle Tom Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gitche Gumee Campground and RV is a good place for that, and at Uncle Tom Lake you always meet someone from Marquette. During the warm months at Uncle Tom Lake highs are mostly in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, regularly in the 50's.
