Ocqueoc River has a category I-II(III) run of whitewater nearby. The 7-mile-long CR638 to Ocqueoc Falls Campground section is good to paddle. You might get soaked whitewater kayaking and rafting this run of Ocqueoc River, so you should be prepared for that. Of course, whitewater kayaking and rafting is fun but risky; check restrictions prior to departure. A tour to Clear Lake State Park when you're here at Twin Tomahawk Lakes is a great idea, as expected
you could also check out Tomahawk Creek Flooding since you're here; it's not far at all. During your spree to Twin Tomahawk Lakes you'll meet some people from Atlanta for sure; in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Rush Lake is just a very short distance away.
Dispersed camp site here. Nice spot. Very shallow ( 2-5ft.) Caught several bass. 12-14 inches.
