Many people like to go to Twin Lakes. Throughout the summer months at Twin Lakes highs are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Twin Lakes dip into the 10's. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Ionia is a glorious choice; Twin Lakes is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Thornapple is a delightful local campground.

| | After a long day outdoors Best Western American Heritage Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and if you came to camp Bellevue Campground is a fine site to do that.
The amount of rainfall that falls at Twin Lakes is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lakes is not the only location close by, Gregg Lake is a close by lake, and a round of golf at nearby Centennial Acres Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time.
