Twin Lakes gets a typical amount of annual rain; September is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Shanty Creek is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Acme-Traverse City, Mi.       The warmest time of the year at Twin Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Twin Lakes. Head up to Caberfae Peaks and strap some skis to your feet, and High Pointe Golf Club is a fine golf course nearby. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Twin Lakes is Boardman River;                  unsurprisingly North Branch Boardman River flows through this area. Having a pleasant time at Twin Lakes is trouble-free. Lots of people from Cadillac come to Twin Lakes. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Northern Pines Campground is a wonderful location for that.
