Summertime highs at Twin Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while Twin Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. What would winter be without some skiing at Hanson Hills. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Twin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kalkaska County Log Lake Park.       This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Granada Inn Motel is a good location to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Rapid River Campground. Whispering Pines Resort is a great place to get some rest, and Lakes of the North Deer Run Golf Course is a glorious golf course nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Shanty                  Creek while you're here, and Twin Lake is not the only location close by, Eagle Lake is a close by lake.
