That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Turtle Lake has it all. Turtle Lake is not far at all from Traverse City; skiing at Crystal Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. The yearly rainfall here at Turtle Lake is about average; September is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Through the long summer days at Turtle Lake highs are ordinarily in the       70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while Turtle Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Lost Lake is a wonderful lake in the vicinity of Turtle Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Sunnywoods Platte River is a pleasant place to camp. Camping is available at Turtle Lake Campgrounds, and if you have time to spare, Sleeping Bear                  Dunes National Lakeshore is a national park worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Homestead; Scenic Hill Best Western Resort is a nice site to get some rest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boardman River.
