Snow Lake is in the vicinity; Yarrow Golf & Conference Center is a splendid site to get some rest. From a rainfall point of view Turner Lake is a reasonably common spot; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Cannonsburg, obviously you could also stop at Deep Lake       if you're here; it's not far at all. Hit the slopes at Bittersweet close at hand; get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Kalamazoo River. Near Turner Lake you stumble on a golf course called Ponderosa Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge & Suites. Camping at Parkside Park is always a tremendous experience. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. During your journey to Turner Lake you'll meet some people from Grand                  Rapids-Wyoming for sure, and Turner Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Sharp Park is a wonderful local campground. Summer at Turner Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 60's.
